My Little Pop Icons by Mari Kasurinen

I saw this in Design Milk and I wanted to share this with all of you.

I know of My Little Pony because one of my sisters collect them and when I saw these. I don’t know what to feel just to see such iconic characters turned into Little Ponies! They simply look so ADORABLE!

My Little Princess Leia

My Little Storm Trooper

My Little Edward Scissorshands

My Little Batman

My Little Iron Man

If you were given a chance to change an Iconic character into a little pony, who would that be?

a COMPLEX shoe affair with SPERRY

I was recently invited by Complex Lifestyle Store for the unveiling of their new shoe brand, SPERRY Top РSider, the original makers of the iconic boat shoes.

I was really thrilled to be invited because I love this brand when it comes to boat shoes. They are after all who started it. I love the classic, and nautical look of the shoes which perfectly fits my style. And not only do they look good, they feel great!

When I entered the store, I immediately loved the minimalistic interiors giving more emphasis to their array of colorful products. And I specially love the graffiti inspired artworks. I forgot the name of the group but I know that they are from Manila.

Here is Karen Ong, one the people behind Complex showing us a video about SPERRY and its history. I really had the pleasure of talking and meeting her personally a few days before during the Metro Dental event and then after for a few drinks. She is a wonderful person and I can’t wait to see her again when she visits Cebu.

And here are some shots that I stole from Eden of ChicInTheTropics. Thanks Eden! See you very soon.

After the whole the presentation, I immediately went to the  boat shoe that I have been eyeing while I was browsing through the selections. It is this high-cut coffee colored sued boat shoes.

And when I put the pair on my feet, they wouldn’t get off! Seriously! Literally!

I kid! hahaha

I realized that since I was not able to find any birthday gift for myself since their was nothing that gave me any interest. I decided to take them and realized that I got a 50% discount for being in the event! Yipee! Thank You!

With Karen, Eden and with all the other bloggers during the event.

Thank you Complex for bringing SPERRY to Cebu!

Yours Truly,

N.

Neil Felipp in Paris

So, this is a sketch of the collection that I sent for the Bijorcha Show in Paris as part of the special setting. I’m really honored and blessed to be chosen. My face was in shock and my heart was racing when the consultants specifically chose my pieces. And I’m really happy that the consultants loved the finished pieces. I will be posting them once they have returned from the show. I really hope the professionals and guests love them as much I do…

About the collection, it is called

Psyche’s hope

Inspired by the recent catastrophes that have befallen our Earth. But despite all these tragedies, within those cracks, there is always hope. Hope for a better tomorrow.

I want to say a big thank you to Francis Dravigny and Ingrid Haufe for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

Thank you! Thank you!

Yours Truly,

Neil Felipp

Smile with Personalities

Metro Dental has finally arrived in Cebu and as a way for them to commemorate their opening is a photo exhibit of the top personalities of Cebu such as Kim Chiu, Paul Jake Castillo, world-renowned Furniture designer, Kenneth Cobonpue, and a lot more with all of their amazing smiles.

But I want to give a personal thank you to Kryz Uy who is not only the stylist of the exhibit but also part of the exhibit. Thank you Kryz!

And here is her photo wearing a Meme Dakay Original bib necklace.

My mentors who have taught me everything when it comes to design.

Cary Santiago and Kenneth Cobonpue

And a good friend of mine and who is wearing an original Neil Felipp Neckpiece, the Cleo, Charlene Go. I was really happy to know that she wore it and she look simply stunning with it which complimented her beautiful smile.

Thank you! Thank you, Charlene!

If you guys want to look at the exhibit yourselves, you can go to SM Northwing 2nd floor in between Bench Fix Salon and Our Home which is also wear the Metro Dental Clinic is located.

May everyone have a great smile!

Yours Truly,

N.

Taylor Launter for VMAN

About who he really is:

“If I’m not filming, I’m promoting, and if it wasn’t Twilight, it was a different movie, so it got really busy. But yeah, no, I, you know, I hang out with my friends, family, and kind of just – I don’t even know. It’s like, when I am not filming, it seems like – I don’t even know what to do.”

About walking on the streets of NY:

“There are times when you really don’t care about anything anymore and you do it: you’ll walk around NYC. And it’s crazy, and then you come back and you are like, All right, that was fun. I’m going to take two weeks not doing that again.”

What brand of VMAN are you?

I got this recently in my email and can’t seem to remember where did I apply for a subscription of this magazine but nevertheless, I love it! The photos, the editorials and articles. One of my favorite features of this magazine would be the black and white articles. There is always something that I find sensual and masculine about B&W photos.

But I feel a little disappointed that this magazine is not available locally in Cebu but hopefully, I can find one when I’m visiting Manila soon.

And if you want to know more about VMAN magazine and all their amazing articles, you can visit their website:

vman.com

And if you have access to get one, go to your nearest magazine stand and get the latest copy with Taylor Lautner as the cover.

I want to give a big thank you to Anuschka Senge for sending me the email about VMAN which I am now a fan of.

More power to you guys,

Yours Truly,

N.
