Slap me some Christmas Love, Please.

As christmas is just right at the corner, what a perfect day to make my own breakfast for the day. I don’t really know what to name this dish I made. It is a pasta salad cooked with a dash of Apple Cider Vinegar topped with Spam Lite and Parmesan. And It was delicious especially the vinegar gave that little kick making it a perfect way to start the day and this entry. hehe

Went to Bigby’s Restaurant with really good friends and I can’t remember the last time I ate there. I forgot to take a picture of this huge platter of MEAT that we got because I was just overjoyed by a surprise Christmas Gift!!! Thank you so much Bon for the chopsticks. I truly love them. ❤

Afterwards, STARBUCKS CAKES!! Cookie Dough Cheesecake(?) and Almond Rocha Cheesecake(?). Not entirely sure if they were cheesecake or not but I am sure with the first two words of both. haha. Anyways, they were good especially the Cookie Dough. I love cookie dough especially when my mom makes her chocolate chip cookie. I think I had the tendency of eating more of the dough than the actual cookie. hahaha. I think that is a good sign already that the batch will be delicious.

Wonderful news, I was able to talk with one of the designers who will be doing the gown of Mia Ali, Miss Cebu Candidate and I will be collaborating with him to make the JEWELRY!!!! I am totally excited for it. It is my own little contribution for Mia who are one of the reasons that made college life worth remembering.

And if you do have the time, please vote for her in the voting booths that can be found in Ayala Center Cebu in front of Oxygen and SM Center Cebu Northwing in front of Cyberzone and that Bubble Tea Drink spot. Sorry, I truly forgot that name but I think it was BubbleBee Tea or BumbleBee Tea. Not sure. hahaha

Just realized that this has been placed in every Island Souvenirs Branch. Oh my.

I hope that everyone feels the Christmas Spirit and hopefully the decor in Manila will give a little wake up call to mine. haha

Yeah, I will be Manila Bound for my visa. I think I will answer the Consul like my sister during our mock interviews.

Will be young forever…

Silhouettes moving through the beat of the music, laser lights swaying in the ceiling, Vegetation seemingly has taken over part of the interior.

It was a great night to enjoy and share with good friends for the official reveal of Vudu. I could still remember that this was one of the first clubs that I have been going to ever since I was in my early teens. Couldn’t really tell who are the crowd now because they entirely different but I was sure that there was this group of models and one of them was Brent Javier. Didn’t bother taking a picture of him because I don’t want to look like a fan. haha

The music was great when we arrived. I couldn’t stop dancing because they were all songs that I was familiar with. I was really hoping that they were going to play Teenage Dream, Fireworks by Katy Perry or even Only Girl by Rihanna but not. 😦

Paolo, me and Mia Arcenas who I am so proud who just recently release her clothing line. Will be using her clothes for future shoots with my jewelry which I am really excited for.

I had a lot of good compliments from that night for my white collar gray long sleeves which I accented with a white bow tie. Thank You everyone especially to the good-looking guy who complimented who I should have asked for his number! Oh well. haha

Billboard Surprise

I’ve been getting calls for the past few days about congratulations on the billboard or if it is really me on a billboard which I had no idea about, seriously. So, I had to check it out myself and THERE IT IS!!

Chocolatier and friends

I have been keeping my eye on this cafe ever since they place their signage saying Chocolatier. And I love chocolate and I seriously needed this boost because of my failed attempt to get my license which means I have to wait another month and a day to retry again.

Finally, hearing that they have opened and that they serve their main course with chocolate, I was so intrigue to try it out with friends.

While waiting for everyone else, Yan2x and I were mouthwatering at the menu and we had a difficult time to choose which one we want because everything seemed delicious. And each dish had CHOCOLATE in it. This reminded me of that movie “Le Chocolat” starring Johhny Depp. Chocolate and Johnny Depp, do I need to say more.

To be honest, we were a little hesitant to come here because we assumed that the price will be expensive but to our surprise, it wasn’t. They truly adjusted their prices to suit the Cebu market. Plus points on that.

I ordered the Roast Beef Panini. It was good. I was happy with it and I was a little worried that the chocolate would overpower the dish but it complimented the beef very well.

Yan2x got Chocolate Rissotto which was delicious and in my opinion, an new variation of Champarado.

Kryz and Jaye got salads which had chocolate dressings. I didn’t understand why it took so long for their orders to arrive when they were just salads and looking at their dishes it would mostly take at least 5-10 minutes just to do this.

Golden Euphoria. It was really good. The chocolate was very moist and and it had this little crunch within which was a good contrast. But I was really disappointed how long it took for them to serve this. I didn’t understand why they didn’t get the one in the fridge counter or maybe it was fake but seriously, it really took long to serve it.

All in all, the food was good with the right price. The people were very accommodating but the problem was that it took too long for them to serve which added to the frustration.

I love this cocktail dress made out of Ferrero Rocher wrappers which was being shown right beside their entrance. But unfortunately, I wasn’t able to ask who designed it.

The skirt detail is my favorite for each wrapper was intricately place to create this beautiful scale-inspired skirt.

Decided to go to Starbucks after. I love what Yan2x wore that night. She was wearing one my favorite color combinations. And her skirt has a little structure to it

Behind-the-Scenes: Island Christmas Love

The photos were taken on the day that I did a performance with Russ Ligtas. It was really amazing because these were taken with a Kodak 135 post processed in black and white.

I never thought that I would still see someone using film since digital is readily available. But in a way, it was a very refreshing sight to see.

Such a Shame for Us to Part

Last Sunday, I was part of a performance with nine others and the one-and-only Russ Ligtas. I will be posting photos on the performance as soon I have some decent photos from others who took shots and hopefully, a video. It was really amazing. I was able to sort of experience a 10-minute or more death which I will further explain in the official post for the performance.

The photos above were taken in the new Kukuk’s Nest North in Talamban where the performance was held. The place has so much potential for it will soon become a bed & breakfast and from the interior to landscape it must have been a very beautiful house before. Can’t wait for Bambi to full utilized and decorate the place.

I have been trying to invite people to watch the performance but unfortunately it was timing during the Pacquiao vs Margarito Fight.

Glee does Teenage Dream

One of the most anticipated highlights of this season of Glee is that Kurt will be getting a boyfriend. People have been speculating if it would be Sam and now there is a newcomer, Blaine a.k.a David Criss. He is will be playing an openly gay student in an all boy school. Not totally sure if he will be the one but one thing is for sure, Kurt likes him.

But anyways, I love watching this video of Blaine and fellow boys remaking one of Katy Perry’s best songs, Teenage Dream. I just can’t resist to smile when they show Kurt’s face while they are singing. It is like that feeling when you get a very sweet and romantic love letter when you open your locker.

I have been a little sick because of our inconsistent weather because it can’t make up it’s mind because I think the song in its head(if it has a head) right now is the song: Hot & Cold by Katy Perry.

So, just last night. I watched Easy A with Gani, Adam and of course, my movie buddy, Elysse. I have been excited to watch this movie for awhile because there is this saying that the best medicine to anything is humor.

This movie was hilarious. I just kept on laughing but my favorite characters of the film would be Olive’s parents. They are amazing and cool! They reminded me a bit of Ginger’s mom from the original Nickelodeon’s cartoon series, “As Told By Ginger” which is one my all-time favorite. If you guys have any problem with highschool about finding yourself and being true yourself, you should watch it and another great thing about it all of characters would change their clothes in every episode.

Afterwards, we decided to get some drinks and Lys recommended TGI Friday’s because they had some margaritas. And seriously, I needed to have some fun because I have been just working non stop and I think this little sick moment reminded me that I needed a break.

I have never seen this beer anywhere before until last night. It was really yummy and specially it is very smooth when it goes through your throat. And would you believe that this is made in the Philippines by San Miguel and it is only 75 pesos! WOW!

And I do apologize that the photos are blurry because I was just using Phil tonight because I wasn’t able to find the charger of the digicam. 😦

This is what I ordered. A strawberry Mojito. It was really really good! It tasted like Tutti Frutti and you would barely taste the alcohol anywhere.

They gave us this complimentary chocolate bread. I think it was called Bushman, not totally sure if that is the proper spelling. It is sprinkled with bits of popcorn and served with BUTTER! It tasted yummy with my Strawberry Mojito.

Gani slurping her Ultimate MudSlide. I was planning to get this but when I was looking at the contents; I will not survive! It has Vodka, Kalhua and Baileys. I tasted a bit and it tasted like a chocolate milkshake with a deep secret but delicious never the less.

Can’t stop looking at the sweet couple of night.

Mini Burgers!!!

This was definitely the highlight of the night! We never planned this at all and we are almost wearing exactly the same thing except the shoes. LOL!

While we were walking around, we noticed that UCC Cafe Terrace has placed up their CHRISTMAS DECOR! And it was done by Elys’s mom. Very beautiful and especially the details. I love where there are ballet shoes sprayed with gold paint are being hanged. It reminds me of the Nutcracker.

May you guys rot in hell for all of eternity!

There were a group of 3 thieves at age of 15-20 who secretly went in to the HOUSE and STOLE my sister’s laptop and nothing else. And the worst of all times, her thesis defense is fast approaching! Good thing, none of my siblings were in the room because who knows what would have happen.

And we have been talking with some of the people around the area and this has been going on in Lahug especially Nivel Hills. So far, the thieves have stolen an airconditioning unit, a mountain bike and the latest was a laptop.

But we believe that they don’t live anywhere in the area because they will be easily caught that way. I just really hope our Police force will be useful in finding this loss good but that it is really hopeful wishing because unfortunately here, if something has been stolen from you, say goodbye to it forever.

If you see any of this thieves, PLEASE DON’T HESITATE TO BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THEM!
